This Privacy Policy applies to getfoodtrucknow.com, Food Truck Now profiles, listing-claim and Verified enrollment pages, owner dashboards, customer discovery tools, and Food Truck Now email and text-message communications (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Food Truck Now LLC in North Carolina, United States.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Contact information such as your name, business email address, mobile number, and support messages.
• Food-truck information such as business name, cuisine, service markets, public links, current location, hours, menu items, availability, and listing corrections.
• Verified enrollment and account information, including subscription status and payment-related identifiers. Payment-card details are collected and stored by our payment processor, not Food Truck Now.
• SMS reminder preferences, including your selected open days, reminder times, time zone, consent status, and opt-out status.

Information collected through the Service

• Basic device, browser, IP-address, request, and diagnostic information used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
• Approximate location inferred from an internet connection. Precise device location is requested only after a user chooses to enable it through the browser.
• Profile visits, QR-source tags, referring-site domains, and campaign tags such as source, medium, campaign, and ad variation used to measure outreach and report aggregated interest.
• Information from public business sources used to prepare unclaimed directory listings. Owners may request corrections or removal.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the Service; create, verify, and maintain food-truck listings; display owner-posted locations, hours, and menus; rank nearby trucks; process subscriptions; deliver requested reminders and support; measure profile and campaign interest; prevent misuse; maintain backups; comply with law; and improve Food Truck Now.

5. How information is shared

We may share only the information reasonably needed with vendors that provide hosting, databases and backups, mapping and address validation, payment processing, email, SMS delivery, analytics, fraud prevention, and customer support. These providers act on our behalf and may use information only to perform their services.

We may also disclose information when required by law; to protect users, Food Truck Now, or the public; to investigate fraud or security incidents; or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of business assets subject to appropriate privacy protections. We do not sell personal information.

Approximate location helps select a nearby market without requesting device permission. Precise location is optional and is used to calculate distance relevance after you approve the browser prompt. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain business and consent records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal, accounting, and carrier requirements. • Reply STOP to a Food Truck Now reminder to opt out of text messages. Reply HELP for assistance.
• Use the owner dashboard to turn reminders off or change reminder days and times.
• Use browser or device settings to control precise location, cookies, and local storage.
• Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with you, subject to identity verification and legal retention requirements.
• Food-truck owners may request correction, claim, or removal of an unclaimed public-research listing.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
